Next update of the Spanish electrical legislation ITC53:
Shortly, the Spanish law regarding low electrical voltage (Low Voltage Electrotechnical Regulation) will be updated with the inclusion of a new complementary technical instruction (ITC 53) that directly affects all solar energy installations located within the national territory. It establishes all the protection systems and devices that, upon its entry into force, will be legally enforceable.
Therefore, it is vitally important to update these facilities so as not to incur legal breaches and receive possible administrative sanctions, as well as the closure of the facility by Industry.
